Gabriella Catalano

Gabriella is a performer, dancer and researcher in the field of body practices and vocabulary. He trained in Tuscany, in Florence, at the International Choreographic Centres' Opus Ballet 'and' Balletto di toscana'. Among the methods that contributed to its formation are: Axis Syllabus, Instant Composition, Flying low and Passing through, Bodyweather, Jinen Butoh (Atsushi Takenouchi), in addition to the practice of Angola Capoeira and the oriental disciplines of Hata Yoga and Kalaripayattu. Gabriella is co-founder of the contemporary dance and physical theatre project Bambula Project created in London in 2014 whose works have been presented on the occasion of theatrical exhibitions and choreographic platforms in the UK, Italy, Bulgaria,Greece and Portugal. At the moment he lives in Altamura (BA) and collaborates with the company of Arti di figura Teatro PAT di Matera and Compagnia MENHIR, Ruvo di Puglia.
