Alexander Vantournhout

Born in Belgium in 1989, Alexander Vantournhout first studied single wheel, acrobatics and juggling at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque (ESAC) in Brussels. Still in Brussels, he then joined P.A.R.T.S school in order to train in contemporary dance and performance. After graduating from P.A.R.T.S, he continued his apprenticeship, traveling to the United States to study improvisation with Steve Paxton and Lisa Nelson. He is the author of several pieces, including Caprices, ANECKXANDER (in collaboration with Bauke Lievens), Red Haired Men and Through the Grapevine.
