How it works

Is where you can explore and discover all the artistic and cultural events that will be live streamed. The events are listed individually in chronological date and time. If an event belongs to a festival or a specific program then it will be tagged with the name of the program/festival. You can search for events with specific categories, organizers, artists, or cities.

The listing in this page highlights the full program of different cultural institutions and/or festivals. Moreover, it highlights the cities where different events are taking place. From this page you can also access the individual city pages to discover other previous and future events that are, or were, programmed in the city. This pages highlights the full program of a festival or program and maintain its artistic vision and focus. Users will be able to access the festivals or specific programs and discover the performances, workshops, talks, and other activities of a festival or a cultural institution.

Each person mentioned on the Platform will have an individual page with a short biography and links to the artistic events, workshops, talks that s/he participated in. Not only artists are highlighted but also the wider community of people working around a performance, event or festival.

It aims, at the same time, to provide transformative experiences through dance, and to expand the public's enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of dance. We aim to present new and original works, and to promote the access of culture in a global perspective. LA PRIMA DANZA (The First Dance) is a site-specific contemporary dance project exploring new performative languages within spaces of cultural heritage, redefining them as living places open to contemporary visions.

The first research phase — LA PRIMA DANZA à coups de marteau – 1st step. Open doors / A Look into the creative process — takes place in September 2025 at the Chiostro and Cenacolo di Ognissanti in Florence. Choreographer-dancer Damiano Ottavio Bigi and director Alessandra Paoletti collaborate with Italian, Chinese, and Taiwanese dancers, alongside live musicians from Tempo Reale.

Here, body and space enter into dialogue: performers merge with or contrast the architecture, transforming it into a living, sensitive landscape activated by movement and live sound.


LA PRIMA DANZA (La première danse) est un projet de danse contemporaine in situ qui explore de nouveaux langages performatifs dans des espaces patrimoniaux, les réinventant comme des lieux vivants, dynamiques et ouverts aux visions contemporaines.

La première phase de recherche — LA PRIMA DANZA à coups de marteau – 1st step. Open doors / A Look into the creative process — se déroule en septembre 2025 au Chiostro et au Cenacolo di Ognissanti à Florence. Le chorégraphe Damiano Ottavio Bigi et la metteuse en scène Alessandra Paoletti y collaborent avec des danseurs italiens, chinois et taïwanais ainsi qu’avec des musiciens de Tempo Reale.

Au cœur de ce processus : le dialogue entre corps et architecture. Les interprètes fusionnent ou contrastent avec l’espace, qui devient un paysage sensible activé par le mouvement et la musique en direct.
