How it works

Is where you can explore and discover all the artistic and cultural events that will be live streamed. The events are listed individually in chronological date and time. If an event belongs to a festival or a specific program then it will be tagged with the name of the program/festival. You can search for events with specific categories, organizers, artists, or cities.

The listing in this page highlights the full program of different cultural institutions and/or festivals. Moreover, it highlights the cities where different events are taking place. From this page you can also access the individual city pages to discover other previous and future events that are, or were, programmed in the city. This pages highlights the full program of a festival or program and maintain its artistic vision and focus. Users will be able to access the festivals or specific programs and discover the performances, workshops, talks, and other activities of a festival or a cultural institution.

Each person mentioned on the Platform will have an individual page with a short biography and links to the artistic events, workshops, talks that s/he participated in. Not only artists are highlighted but also the wider community of people working around a performance, event or festival.

Citerne.live is an online interdisciplinary digital space designed to serve as an artistic ‘safe hub’, and to propose a live streaming program of cultural events. It aims to provide a ‘cultural framework’ for creative thought online and to build a wider coalition of artists, cultural organizations, and festivals. ‘A voice for culture’, reflecting its innovative values as well as values of cooperation, commonality, equality, solidarity, and transnational approach.

*Compulsive South* is an insight through the different locations of the city, and the relation of the bodies to the space, revisiting the recent memory of working in public spaces, through the interpretation of the current impossibility… improvised moments highlighting the presence of a young generation of dancers in Alexandria urging to venture the field of dance amidst a very limiting context, especially in public spaces. A talk about the state of dance in Alexandria

This is the first episode of False Awakening which is a short-form dance series consisting of 3 episodes and based on the musical piece by Palestinian producer “Boycott”. Bodies are called to smooth their borders and orient themselves in space to generate relationship and meaning. The choreographic speech unfolds fluid and dynamic, marked by proximity, pauses, crossings and suspensions. GENESI moves towards the historical and cultural Mediterranean horizon and questions the dynamics of flows and the relationship with the inhabited space, as a space for crossing / welcoming and ownership / resistance. Everything happens in a circular space, a place that gathers and calls to gather, in which to be observed and from which to look at the world. Les corps sont appelés à lisser leurs frontières et à s'orienter dans l'espace pour générer des relations et du sens. Le discours chorégraphique se déroule fluide et dynamique, marqué par la proximité, les pauses, les croisements et les suspensions. GENESI regarde vers l'horizon historique et culturel méditerranéen et questionne la dynamique des flux et le rapport à l'espace habité, comme espace de croisement / accueil et d'appropriation / résistance. Tout se passe dans un espace circulaire, un lieu qui rassemble et appelle à se rassembler, dans lequel être observé et à partir duquel regarder le monde. WHERE THE SEA BEGINS will be a moment of sharing and exchange online. Artists and operators will be questioned about their perspectives and visions for the future of dance and performative arts in general. The topics of discussion will evolve around the values we find in transmission, crisis as a new departure, togetherness, creativity and change. The meeting will be moderated by Stefania Di Paolo and it will involve Elisa Barucchieri, Giulio De Leo, Petra Hrascanec, Sanna Myllylahti, Albert Quesada and Omar Rajeh.

Where the Sea Begins est un moment de partage et d'échange en ligne. Les artistes et les opérateurs culturels seront interrogés sur leurs perspectives et leurs visions pour l'avenir de la danse et des arts performatifs en général. Les sujets de discussion évolueront autour des valeurs que l'on retrouve dans la transmission, la crise comme nouveau départ, la solidarité, la créativité et le changement. La réunion sera animée par Stefania Di Paolo et aura pour invités Elisa Barucchieri, Giulio De Leo, Petra Hrascanec, Sanna Myllylahti, Albert Quesada et Omar Rajeh.

Where the Sea Begins

A walk throughout the centre of Bari, is a walk together with Giulio De Leo, Ines Pierucci and two among the most important choreographers based in Bari: Roberta Ferrara and Ezio Schiavulli. Bari, the main city of Apulia Region, looks on to the Mediterranean sea and is characterised by a long history of exchanges and trades. A crossroads of different religions strictly linked to the tradition of Saint Nicola, whose relics rest into the Basilica Pontificia church. In the last ten years the city become one of the most dynamic contemporary dance scenes in the South of Italy. The walk will carry the audiences into Bari Vecchia and will discover some important venues of culture inhabited by the site specific performances by Roberta Ferrara, Ezio Schiavulli and Giulio De Leo/Erika Guastamacchia.

COMMUNITY IN CIRCLE est une promenade dans le centre de Bari avec Giulio De Leo, Ines Pierucci et deux des chorégraphes les plus importants basés à Bari: Roberta Ferrara et Ezio Schiavulli. Bari, la principale ville de la région des Pouilles, donne sur la mer Méditerranée et se caractérise par une longue histoire d'échanges et de métiers. C’est un carrefour de différentes religions strictement lié à la tradition de Saint Nicolas, dont les reliques reposent dans l'église Basilica Pontificia. Au cours des dix dernières années, la ville est devenue l'une des scènes de danse contemporaine les plus dynamiques du sud de l'Italie. La promenade mènera le public à Bari Vecchia à la découverte des lieux de culture importants habités par les performances hors es murs de Roberta Ferrara, Ezio Schiavulli et Giulio De Leo / Erika Guastamacchia.

COMMUNITY IN CIRCLE Walking in Bari

In my ethnicity - Éwé - the formation of musical polyrhythm encompasses not only sound aspects but also motion, with each dancer acting as an additional layer of the musical polyrhythm. Polycentrism intertwines in this game where one becomes a flux of patterns as if they had a life of their own. The performance dives into this intimate relation with multiple vibrations, waves and frequencies as polyrhythm-graphy. Dans mon appartenance ethnique - Éwé - la formation de la polyrythmie musicale englobe non seulement les aspects sonores mais aussi le mouvement, chaque danseur agissant comme une couche supplémentaire du polyrythme musical. Le polycentrisme s'entremêle dans ce jeu où l'on devient un flux de motifs comme s'ils avaient une vie propre. La performance plonge dans cette relation intime avec de multiples vibrations, ondes et fréquences comme la polyrythmie-graphie. As we undergo the visceral and unequally distributed experiences of the human impact on the planet, diverse fields of knowledge mediate our awareness and inform our actions for justice. This panel seeks to create an encounter between three of such fields that record, visualize, and advocate around the urban and ecological shifts: environmental science, architecture, and documentary film. İrem Daloğlu, Sinan Logie, and İmre Azem will discuss the protocols of representing the anthropo-scenic changes in Istanbul and beyond. From a choreographic perspective, we will ask how each discipline takes human and non-human mobility as methods and objects of study. The public is welcome to this conversation between art, design, science, and activism on the best practices for creatively sustaining our patches of coexistence. Photo Taldans
