Akira (Pamplona, Spain), Discovered break dancing at a young age and began entering competitions, winning more than 60 international awards. Studied at SEAD before joining ‘Hidden in Plain Sight’. Worked in pieces such as ‘TO BE’, “Cuculand Souvenir”, the 7-hour piece "Who is Frau Troffea?". Created solos as "Home" and "Burial of The Bark". Co-created the duets "Gizaki", "Hito", "Ahotsak" and "The Inglorious Fortune of Being an Interpreter". Akira has worked on Verve Company “Shelter” and ‘Hidden’, a Lali Ayguadé Company production.
Lali Ayguadé Company was founded in 2013 in Barcelona. Her director, Lali Ayguadé, has a important international trajectory through her collaborations and works in the most important and prestigious dance companies in the world as Akram Khan Company and Hofesh Shechter among others. Since its creation, the company has developed a colourful repertoire of works of different formats: its own creations for theatre (Kokoro in 2015, iU an Mi in 2017, Hidden in 2020), its own creations for street and unconventional spaces (Incognito, De camino al Otro, Underneath, Gizaki), as well as collaborations with artists such as Guilhem Chatir (Here, 2018) and Joana Gomila (Sa Mateixa, 2018).
