Emilie Petit

Visual artist, Emilie Petit works between Marseille and Alexandria. She has been developing a pictorial practice based on research and experimentation with the line, the layout, and the body, as a crossing or immersion in geography since the early 2000s.Interested in hybrid forms of activity linking art-society-politics, she seeks a form of artistic being that is practiced in cooperation and collaboration, outside the standardized circuits of contemporary art.
