Hamza Damra is the co-founder of Stereo48 Breakdancing crew based in Nablus, Palestine. He took part in various performances, most recently: Area Y, a co-production between Sareyyet Ramallah (Palestine) and Siljeholm/Christophersen (Norway), 2016. Badke, co-production between A.M. Qattan Foundation (Palestine), KVS and Les Ballets C de la B (Belgium), 2015, he is a part of YA Samar! Dance Theatre in their new production Against a hard surface and he co- choreographed his piece Until Spring. He is currently working with 3 different projects, Farah Saleh new production Gesturing Refugees, NGC25 SALAM co-production with Sareyyet Ramallah, and HipHop Gees a production for Stereo48 Dance Company.

Stereo 48

Stereo48 is a Palestinian young organization working in the field of performing art and particularly contemporary theater and dance. It has been founded in 2014 by a group of break-dancers from the city of Nablus. Their mission is to enhance the performing art scene in Palestine through several programs: theatre and dance performances, hip-hop workshops and classes in the refugee camps always believing in the positive impact of culture on the people living in marginalized areas. Moreover the Dance Competitions Program that they organize focuses on expanding and spreading the culture of dance and hip-hop through dance competitions for professionals engaging in friendly contests.
