Nawel Skandrani

Born in Tunisia, Nawel Skandrani continued her dance training in Paris. In 1991, she founded the Tunisian National Ballet. Since 1997, she has pursued a career as a choreographer and independent teacher, signing numerous productions. Founding member of the Tunisian office of the International Theater Institute, of the Tunisian Union of Performing Arts. In 2014/2015, she was president of the Dance Production Fund and a member of the National Committee for Dance at the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. In June 2020, she has been designated as the dance coordinator member in charge of the Artist Status Law project.
