The short film Carolina seeks to identify the place that Carolina Teixeira occupies in the social-political-cultural context in which we live. Framing this woman is giving visibility to countless women, northeastern Brazilians, artists, and disabled people in Brazil. From your point of view we can perceive a different world. Graduated in Social Communication and Master in Performing Arts, Lilih studied Performance Direction at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV in San Antonio de los Baños - Cuba and studied theatre interpretation at the CPT / SESC-SP and at the University Theatre of the UFMG. She develops her projects at SEGREDO FILMES where she directed the short films CARMEN (2013), TERESA (2014), CAROLINA (2017) and DISTOPIA (2020). The latter, a fictional script in itself, was selected for PANLAB 2016 and awarded the Ministry of Culture's short film production support notice - MinC 2017. In 2020, it develops the feature-length documentary MÁTRIA, directing the DocDança A RESIDÊNCIA and raises funds for the short fiction film ANASTÁCIA, of its own script selected for PANLAB 2019.
