With Founé Sow, singer, musician, performer, and dancer from Senegal and Mali, and Nader Mekdachi, author, guitarist, and producer from France and Lebanon. Together, they have built an original repertoire where French, Wolof, and Soninke intertwine, call out to each other, and respond to each other. The music, lively and danceable, is both rootsy and contemporary, mixing distorted guitars, kora, groove box, percussion, and synthesizers. It draws inspiration from Afrobeat, desert trance, and Malian blues. This duo promises a vibrant and unique fusion of urban poetry and deep African heritage.
