Founder | Royal de Luxe

Jean-Luc Courcoult co-founded the Royal de Luxe company in 1979, with the objective of living and creating poetic imaginary worlds in Nantes, and travelling the world to create emotions within the public. As if guided by a sense of urgency, he tries at every moment of his life to find the formula that will put stars in the eyes of any being who implicitly asks him to ""draw me a sheep"". In this journey to the planet Imagination, he feels like a magician. The positive energy of life that he carries in him since childhood does not refuse him anything. His ebullient spirit gives him the strength to blow on the Universe, to shake up the continents until reenchanting the road of the Giants, to cross Planck's wall, to pitch his tent on the facade of a building of Bellevue, to give to the dreams new galaxies. With the Royal band, Jean-Luc provokes pure and true shocks, it is a style, a form of creation, which was not there before him, each scene, each painting, evokes others that the public will have to join.
