How it works

Is where you can explore and discover all the artistic and cultural events that will be live streamed. The events are listed individually in chronological date and time. If an event belongs to a festival or a specific program then it will be tagged with the name of the program/festival. You can search for events with specific categories, organizers, artists, or cities.

The listing in this page highlights the full program of different cultural institutions and/or festivals. Moreover, it highlights the cities where different events are taking place. From this page you can also access the individual city pages to discover other previous and future events that are, or were, programmed in the city. This pages highlights the full program of a festival or program and maintain its artistic vision and focus. Users will be able to access the festivals or specific programs and discover the performances, workshops, talks, and other activities of a festival or a cultural institution.

Each person mentioned on the Platform will have an individual page with a short biography and links to the artistic events, workshops, talks that s/he participated in. Not only artists are highlighted but also the wider community of people working around a performance, event or festival.

Citerne.live is a new cultural project that aspires a new approach to the digital as an artistic medium. It aims, at the same time, to provide transformative experiences through dance, and to expand the public's enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of dance. We aim to present new and original works, and to promote the access of culture in a global perspective. Our mission is to imagine an engaged role for culture that empowers, and inspires our human values. Istanbul

As we undergo the visceral and unequally distributed experiences of the human impact on the planet, diverse fields of knowledge mediate our awareness and inform our actions for justice. This panel seeks to create an encounter between three of such fields that record, visualize, and advocate around the urban and ecological shifts: environmental science, architecture, and documentary film. İrem Daloğlu, Sinan Logie, and İmre Azem will discuss the protocols of representing the anthropo-scenic changes in Istanbul and beyond. From a choreographic perspective, we will ask how each discipline takes human and non-human mobility as methods and objects of study. The public is welcome to this conversation between art, design, science, and activism on the best practices for creatively sustaining our patches of coexistence. Photo Taldans

Alors que nous subissons les expériences viscérales et inégalement réparties de l'impact humain sur la planète, divers domaines de connaissances médiatisent notre prise de conscience et informent nos actions vers la justice. Ce panel cherche à créer une rencontre entre trois de ces domaines qui enregistrent, visualisent et défendent les changements urbains et écologiques: la science de l'environnement, l'architecture et le film documentaire. Filiz Sızanlı and Mustafa Kaplan, the co-founders of Taldans, talk about how they create their performance pieces in relation to the interactions they have established within the city. They will present sequences of videos from "Victory Over the Sun" that was filmed in urban and historical landmarks in Istanbul. The places chosen for the performance relate to the city surrounded by elements such as water, traces left by the urban transformation and the periphery of the city which reveal the identity of the city. This excursion to the body of the city is an invitation to a walk. This podcast is a participation of listening, questioning and allowing new ways of perceiving and re-experiencing the city that we live in from a different perspective by following the voice guidance. How the city’s obstacles, disturbances, noise and transformations affect our body, can we raise more awareness on these topics? This audio choreography is an alternative way to be together, to act even on an online platform. You will need a phone with internet connection, earphones to listen to the podcast and a city to walk.
