Enter the magical world of the latest creation of Jean-Luc Courcoult / Royal de Luxe: "The Bull Machin of Villeurbanne, grand prix of dog races* which takes place today in Villeurbanne in partnership with Pôle PIXEL and simultaneously on Citerne.live. For three days, and within Villeurbanne, French capital of culture 2022, two giant dogs will evolve in the center of the city, and will compete on the day of the grand prix. *The Bull Machin de Villeurbanne, grand prix de course de chiens* is manipulated by a dozen people. Inspired by Gulliver's adventures, the characters who accompany these dogs manipulate the machines, offer us a unique show and seem to really give life to these dogs. For the occasion, Pôle PIXEL also organizes workshops for students of the ARFIS school and Pôle Emploi Scène et Images, from September 19 to 25, supervised by Dr. Laurent Antonczak and Antoine De Bièvre, professionals of audiovisual shooting by cell phone and drone. Villeurbanne, first French capital of culture! The "French Capital of Culture" label, created by the Ministry of Culture, was awarded to Villeurbanne among 29 cities and intercommunities with populations ranging from 20,000 to 200,000. This is a first in France. Villeurbanne is and will remain the first French capital of culture! With its strong popular and urban identity, Villeurbanne invites you to discover, understand and take hold of its cultural, artistic and heritage history. During this exceptional year, all the city's neighborhoods will vibrate to the rhythm of an eclectic and abundant cultural program that will invest all the artistic fields: theater, music, contemporary art, dance, street arts, digital or plastic arts, sciences, cinema, photography, heritage tours, for all audiences. The program has been developed with the various cultural institutions and associations of Villeurbanne, which have been strongly involved in this adventure since its inception. Villeurbanne has been awarded the "French Capital of Culture" label for 2022, a project piloted and financed by the Ministry of Culture with the support of the Caisse des Dépôts.
