How it works

Is where you can explore and discover all the artistic and cultural events that will be live streamed. The events are listed individually in chronological date and time. If an event belongs to a festival or a specific program then it will be tagged with the name of the program/festival. You can search for events with specific categories, organizers, artists, or cities.

The listing in this page highlights the full program of different cultural institutions and/or festivals. Moreover, it highlights the cities where different events are taking place. From this page you can also access the individual city pages to discover other previous and future events that are, or were, programmed in the city. This pages highlights the full program of a festival or program and maintain its artistic vision and focus. Users will be able to access the festivals or specific programs and discover the performances, workshops, talks, and other activities of a festival or a cultural institution.

Each person mentioned on the Platform will have an individual page with a short biography and links to the artistic events, workshops, talks that s/he participated in. Not only artists are highlighted but also the wider community of people working around a performance, event or festival.

It is a space where recordings of live performances and/or video dance creations are stored after they are live streamed. Citerne.live is a new cultural project that aspires a new approach to the digital as an artistic medium. It aims, at the same time, to provide transformative experiences through dance, and to expand the public's enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of dance. We aim to present new and original works, and to promote the access of culture in a global perspective. Our mission is to imagine an engaged role for culture that empowers, and inspires our human values. Brussels

A Tornado + an artistic team + a videographer: this is the equation of this series of three films commissioned by the SUBS. Sophie Laly successively places her gaze and her camera on three extraordinary personalities who confront their artistic practice with this monumental work of paper installed under the glass roof of Les Subsistances. Alexander Vantournhout, Rebecca Chaillon and Cassiel Gaube are thus filmed in the Eye of the Tornado with aesthetic and chromatic variations that set the tone of this colorful triptych.
Episode 3 is made from a working phase for the creation "Study evening" choreographed by Cassiel Gaube, in La Tornade, a monumental work of paper designed by the plastic artists Domitille Martin and Alexis Mérat. Photo Romain Fievet


Une Tornade + une équipe artistique + une vidéaste : c’est l’équation de cette série de trois films commandés par les SUBS. Sophie Laly pose successivement son regard et sa caméra sur trois personnalités hors du commun qui confrontent leur pratique artistique à cette œuvre monumentale de papier installée sous la verrière des Subsistances. Alexander Vantournhout, Rebecca Chaillon et Cassiel Gaube sont ainsi filmés dans l’œil de la Tornade avec des variations esthétiques et chromatiques qui donnent le ton de ce triptyque haut en couleur. 

L'épisode 3 est réalisé à partir d’une étape de travail de la création « Soirée d’étude » chorégraphié par Cassiel Gaube, dans la Tornade, œuvre monumentale de papier conçue par les artistes-plasticiens Domitille Martin et Alexis Mérat.  Photo Romain Fievet
