Jedeya. A bubble of memories of the ancestral gestures that shaped the life of a Tunisian grandmother and which have been passed down from one generation to the next.
Sofian Jouini explores the memory of bodies through the prism of his grandmother. He explores the gestures of everyday life and those of working the land up to the kneading of bread. In 2020, immersed in a nursing home, with the elderly, he collected their testimonies around the daily gestures that had filled their past lives. Between Tunisia and Brittany, these life stories have nourished the creation of Jedeya. Sofian invites us to sit around a bread oven to revisit the gestures that punctuate existence.

Since 2005, Hors-Lits provides artistic performance opportunities in local residents’ homes. Created by Léonardo Montecchia in Montpellier, this concept of site-specific creation and encounters between artists, inhabitants and audiences has spread to more than 50 cities around the world. Montecchia entrusted local artists and cultural operators to design and implement their own local versions of the Hors-Lits programme. For this first edition in Belfort, entitled 'Hors-Lits Belfort-Tunis #1', VIADANSE gives carte blanche to Tunisian artist Selim Ben Safia, choreographer and founder of Al Badil. Ben Safia designed a journey across the city in which artists from France, Tunisia, Morocco and Madagascar will present short performances in four different locations.

Migrations of bodies, imagination, techniques, and ideas. The artistic purpose of Border_line develops on several scales : how do we inhabit the space around us, how do we break walls, how do we question the relationship to the group and to the other, how do we develop the sense of ownership of a shared space? All these questions create tensions, obstacles and conflicts... These topics relate to the inner space and mind, and question one's internal conflicts. Is there room for privacy within the Moroccan society, in which the individual is under constant scrutiny? Do bodies create barriers for themselves? Photo Anania

Since speech liberates, Cyrinne uses words, singing and dancing to express and relate a unique presence in the world and to act in resistance.
