Elise Bruyère

A contemporary dancer and performer from Belgium. After graduating from the Conservatorium of Antwerp where she worked in collaboration with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and the Eastman company, she started her career as a freelance dancer. In Europe she dances with the belgo-burkinabé compagnie Sombo(2018-2019),with the Antwerpen Company Noi(2017-2019),the Madrilene company Caminante(2017), and in the Middle East with the Foreigners Collective (2013). In New-York she joined the company Chris Masters Dance in 2013 then joined and established a close collaboration with the company BAIRA | MVMNT PHLSPHY from 2014 until 2016. In 2017 she created her first solo piece “ Gasp” and presented it in several theaters in Belgium. She joined Omar Rajeh’s company Maqamat for their new creation in 2019.
